Hi Jim,
There was no catch (the property has already been sold). Norway is a big country, but not that many people are living there. Which results in extremely cheap properties at some places because it is sparcely populated. This home also needed renovating.
My goal is to be completely honest with the homes posted on this site. There is a lot of click-bait on the internet with extremely cheap homes which either turn out to not exist, homes without water/heating, or it’s a holiday home that you only have access to a couple of weeks a year.
I do not share homes like that. These are real listings of cheap Scandinavian homes (that in some cases need renovating, but are still a catch if you’re looking for a property in one of the Scandinavian countries).
